LMF: Why don't we start off with you introducing yourself?
S: Hey! My name is Sienna and I'm a recording artist from Long Island, NY. I recently released my debut solo album, "Steps." I had an awesome time recording this project and I'm currently touring and promoting it. You can check it out on my web site: www.siennamusic.com
LMF: When did you know you wanted to be a singer?
S: I've always wanted to be a singer! I remember when I was about 5 years old my friends and I would put on shows outside and invite the whole block to come! I know now that God has blessed me with a talent to go out to the world and touch people's lives through my music and to be a positive role model for people today.
LMF: How would you describe your music?
S: Soulful pop/r&b with a positive message.
LMF: Do you write your own music?
S: I CO-write with other writers.
LMF: If you could sing a duet with someone, who would it be and why?
S: Jody McBrayer from the group Avalon. I think he has a unique sound to his voice.
LMF: What's a typical day like for you?
S: It's CRAZY! There definitely needs to be more hours in the day....I work a job as a medical assistant so I'm there till 5:30. Then I go to the gym, practice and work on my music career as far as booking gigs and networking.
LMF: Do you ever get nervous or stage fright?
S: I do get nervous but it's a good nervous. Then once I'm on stage it goes away real fast.
LMF: Describe your first onstage performance.
S: It was when I was in 1st grade. I played the Queen in Cinderella and I had to dance with the King.... but every time we had to dance he would take me and dance the wrong way and I would go and correct him. We were sooo serious but the audience seemed to think it was funny and laughed each time!
LMF: Do you have a favorite city that you've performed in?
S: I'd have to say NYC. It's so alive and there's music everywhere.
LMF: If you could describe your favorite memory in your career so far, what would it be?
S: I would have to say when I went to Europe to perform this summer. I was one of 2 artist chosen from the US to be a part of The International Concert of Christian Music in Italy. I was so honored. It was an awesome experience and felt so good to know that my God given talent and hard work brought me to this amazing country.
LMF: What is the one thing you can eat 24/7?
S: ICE CREAM! mmmm
LMF: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
S: Still performing and making a positive impact on people's lives.
LMF: If you could open up for any artist out there right now, who would it be?
S: Michael W. Smith.
LMF: What C.D. would we find in your C.D. player right now?
S: Celine Dion, Third Day, MercyMe and Avalon.
LMF: If you weren't singing, is there something else you could see yourself doing for a career?
S: I would want to be a pediatric nurse. I love the medical field, its so interesting and there is always something new everyday. Plus I really enjoy working with people.
LMF: If you had a fortune cookie, what would your ideal fortune cookie say?
S: Trust in God. He has great plans for you!
LMF: last one, What message would you like to send out to your fans?
S: Thank you so much for all your love, prayers and support! Don't compromise your morals and values in order to be accepted by "the world." Instead be your own role model and have the world look to you!
