LMF: Why don't we start with you guys introducing yourselves?
Skitzo: Skitzo from the Regiment what's the deal?
Twist: What's Good?
Sidious: Sidious...St. Sidious.
Vic: What's good? From Hennesyde aka Vic aka Beatmaker aka ... what's good?
Cross: What's beneficial?
Red Don: Peace!
LMF: Can you guys tell us how Regiment began?
Sid: Cross and I had a love for music, that being hip hop and we wanted to pursue it and find an elite team of MC's and that is exactly what we did.
LMF: Who came up with the name Regiment?
Sid: Cross, I, and an associate named Rich came up with it.
Cross: Sid and Rich were going to name the group Mobius and I did not like the idea. It did not sound good so then I said lets think of a new name. After a litte while Rich and Sid came up with Regiment and we all agreed.
LMF: Describe your music to someone who has never heard it before.
Skitzo: (Via phone) Picasso on wax. I feel we are the doing something that no one else can imitate. I feel we are the best of the best in what we do.
Cross: The reason it is Picasso style is because like Picasso who blended many styles and colors, we paint a picture that people can see through words.
Vic: We are a group ahead of its time. In Picasso's day he may have offended and it may have been abstract. Ours is abstract poetry that may offend at times and may attract at times but always provokes thought.
Twist: We are bringing back to hip hop what it once was.
LMF: Who are some of your inspirations when it comes to music?
Skitzo (Via Phone): Big Pun because he was a boriqua (Puerto Rican) but he was one of the greatest that ever did it he was a legend. The first Latin to go platinum. He opened the door for lots of Latinos.
Sid: Wu Tang. They brought rap back to the gutter and that is exactly the image I want the Reginment to project.
Cross: Jay Z. He hustled from the ground up and he is one of the best that ever did it and he makes me wanna write.
Vic: I am slit between Biggie and Rakim. Rakim was the Alpha and the Omega.
Red Don: Biggie Smalls. That was another man that came from the streets and made it big.
LMF: Who writes most of the music?
ALL: We all write our own material. Vic is the beatmaster. He writes most of the beats. We all write our own individual lyrics.
Skitzo: We make heads bounce. No one can do it like we do it man.
Twist: Knowing that we can release emotions through pen and paper and no one can tell us different.
LMF: If you guys could perform with anyone out there, who would it be?
Sid: Eminem
Skitzo: Nas. He has a dope flow and I like the way he puts his thoughts on paper. I think we would be a deadly combination on a track togerther.
Twist: Jigga. (Jay Z) Knowing the intensity of the crowd would be so crazy.
Skitzo: Say Chopper from Da Band! I'm playing!
Cross: Lloyd Banks and Jay Z. Jay is the best that ever did it. Lloyd Banks has a crazy flow.
Sid: Method Man , Redman and Busta!
Vic: As far as beats I'd like to collab with Dr. Dre and Primo from Gangstarr.
LMF: Do you guys have any embarrassing moments on stage you would like to share?
ALL: Nope!!! (laughing!)
LMF: What do you guys like better, recording in the studio or performing live?
Skitzo: Performing Live!! I cannot front. Studio is our passion and heart.

Sid: Stage, getting tipsy and the studio, getting tipsy.
Niel: (Manager) I like Wal Mart sales!!!
