LMF: Why don't we start off with you introducing yourself.
MG: Well Hello, I'm Marco Gomez, a Latin R&B Solo Artist, From Yonkers New York. Currently living in Orlando, Florida
LMF: When did you know you wanted to become a singer?
MG: I was twelve years old when I found out that singing was my thing after singing at a school talent show
LMF: Who are some of your biggest musical influences?
MG: I would have to say Marc Anthony, Eddie Santiago, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly and Stevie Wonder.
LMF: How did you get involved with Eyes of America?
MG: I was part of the project when it was only an idea 2 years ago and when I heard the idea i jumped up on the opportunity and said "What a better way to raise awareness on child abduction."
LMF: What was is like to film the Music Video?
MG: It was a lots of fun the crew was great and collaborating with many different artist and a great group of people was a blessing to me.
LMF: Your Album is coming out soon what can we expect on it?
MG: well you can expect party songs, slow jams and just "Feel Good Music". We need that now a days.
LMF: Do you have a name for your CD or is it self-titled?
MG: well It will be self titled but subject to change.
LMF: If you could sing with any artist out there right now, who would it be and why?
MG: I think it would be cool to sing with Lil Jon just cause the energy that he brings to the table is the best and R. Kelly that self explanatory. He's the Best
LMF: There are a lot of male artists out right now, what sets you apart from the rest?
MG: Well God, He made everyone different and I'm sure my overall style will speak for itself cause I'm different.
LMF: What was your first on stage experience like?
MG: My first stage experience was quite scary, I was shaking, you could hear it through my vocals but after a verse of the song. I was comfortable and just happy to even be onstage already proceeding in this beautiful dream of mine.
LMF: Do you ever get nervous or stage fright?
MG: Well I always get nervous but It's not bad at all I think I'm more excited then anything.
LMF: Do you have any embarrassing moments on stage you would like to share?
MG: Wow, I could remember in high school, It was homecoming dance and I was going to perform in front of the whole school with a friend. The night felt good, the song felt good but guess what, it was time to perform and after the intro of the song the cd began to skip and I was booed off stage with my friend. I remember hearing it now as if it was yesterday. It made me a stronger person and it gave me more of a drive. Once again God put that situation in my way for a reason, so I can grow from that performance and make every next performance better than the last.
LMF: What is the best part about being a performer?
MG: Wow I enjoy the crowds response, the traveling, the overall competition of an event. I Love it all!
LMF: What has been the most memorable moment in your career this far?
MG: well I've meet many celebrities such as Kanye West, Trick Daddy, Luis Fonsi and many more but my most memorable moment was when I sang this song that had a note that was extremely high that I felt uncomfortable doing but doing it at a live performance and bringing out the chills and hearing the audience yell out my name. It was a beautiful thing cause I prayed for it and the prayer was answered and memorable.
LMF: What CD would we find in your CD player right now?
MG: R. Kelly Chocolate Factory and Bobby Valentino
LMF: What is the one food you could eat 24/7?
MG: Wow I say seafood - Fried Shrimp or Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. Oh wait I love scrambled eggs and bacon, I could eat that 24/7.
LMF: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
MG: Wow I pray to God to lead me in the direction that best suites me, and I feel that in five years I would be not only a performer/singer/ producer but a CEO of My own business and even acting on the big screen.
LMF: If you had a fortune cookie, what would your ideal fortune cookie say?
MG: Success is on its way
LMF: If you weren't singing, is there something else you could see yourself doing for a career?
MG: Well honestly i started young seeking other careers to see if there is anything else that interest me more than music. I studied graphic designs, real estate, truck driving [with dad], Nursing [with mom]. Trust me I tried many careers through out high school and the only thing I could see my self doing other than performing is producing tracks [beats] which is music so that tells me that music is my deal.
