Interview Questions
LMF: Why don't we start off with you introducing yourself?
L: Hi there, I am Lalaine
LMF: First of all your CD is great! How's the tour going?
L: Thank you. The tour is more than I expected. It has been so great to perform for so many fans every weekend.
LMF: How would you describe your music?
L: I would describe it as rock songs that are about my personal experiences. Since I wrote most of my music, I can tell stories about me.
LMF: Who are your musical inspirations?
L: My sister Cristina originally inspired me to get into music. I am a HUGE Elvis fan and also Pat Benatar is a big inspiration.
LMF: Do you like performing live better or recording?
L: I prefer live performances and connecting with people.
LMF: We all would like to know who did you write "save myself" for? It's such a great song!
L: Someone who is very dear to my heart. I like to keep the magic of it and not discuss it openly.
LMF: You’re in a movie coming out called "Promised Land" can you tell us a little bit about it?
L: It is about life, hope and fallen dreams that you keep trying to reach for. It is sort of a road trip movie. My character is called Norma and this was my chance to play a role that was more dramatic than most of my fans have seen me in. I am looking forward to it being released.
LMF: Are you going to be making a music video for "all fall down"?
L: I believe we will, but I am not sure when it will happen yet. I am sure you guys will know when it happens.
LMF: If you had to choose singing or acting, what would you choose?
L: Right now I am spending most of my time with my music because I feel it. I love both. I love dancing too. I have so much passion every time I perform that I cannot see myself choosing one over the other.
LMF: Describe a day for you, from waking up to going to bed.
L: I don’t have a typical day. I’ve been traveling a lot and just finished my tour. Just recently I have been doing singing and regular classes in the morning, and rehearsals in the afternoon. I generally sleep in in the morning unless I have an appointment.
LMF: Where do you see yourself in five years?
L: Hopefully with another album and a successful recording artist.
LMF: What CD would we find in your CD player right now?
L: Justin Timberlake
LMF: What message would you like to send out to your fans?
L: I am grateful of your faith in my music and performances. I know I will not let you down.
