LMF: Why don't we start off with you introducing yourself?
C: Hi my name is Cookie and I am 14y/o but I will be 15 in jus a few months.
LMF: When did you know you wanted to do rap?
C: I always liked rap and R&B I started off singing R&B but I wanted to rap and had more fun doing it than singing. By doing rap it is easier for me to connect with my peers.
LMF: Describe your music to someone who has never heard it before.
C: MMMMM
LMF: What was the process of recording your album like?
C: I would get my track and then we would write to it. I would demo it, lay the lyrics down on the track then I would take it home and learn it. I like hearing myself on the track cuz that’s how I can tell where to make changes in my lyrics or my flow.
LMF: Do you have a favorite song off of it? If so which one and why?
C: Not yet I am still working on my album, I try not to get hooked on one song because it may not make the album and then I would be disappointed.
LMF: Who are your biggest musical influences?
C: Wow I don’t know if I could boil it down because they all have their own style and I can learn from all of them.
LMF: If you could plan your own tour, which artists would you take out on the road with you?
C: That’s a tough one if I could plan my very own tour I would like to go on tour with Christina Malian, Bow Wow, Jo Jo, Missy Elliot, Ciara, Cassidy, Nas, TI
LMF: There are a lot of female artists out right now, what sets you apart from the rest?
C: The biggest thing that would set me apart from other female artist is that I am 14 and I’m a white rapper.
LMF: What was your first on stage experience like?
C: It was awesome I performed in a park it was cook out for teen night out. The food was great too, I’m always hungry.
LMF: Do you have any pre-show rituals that you do before a performance?
C: I really don’t have one I usually just hang out in the green room and chill with my peoples.
LMF: For a fan that is going to see you in concert, what can they expect from your show?
C: They can expect that they will get pumped up and be entertained during my performance. It’s a good time.
LMF: Do you have a favorite city that you've performed in?
C: I haven’t gone very far but I enjoy my home town Tampa and O-town.
LMF: Do you have any embarrassing moments on stage you would like to share?
C: Wow I haven’t had one but one of my dancers did LOL. My dancer ripped her pants on stage.
LMF: What is the best part about being a performer?
C: I represent DARE and it is so cool to be able to connect with the kids. So when I perform I get to stand on stage and feeling the crowd’s energy and watching the way they react and having fun.
LMF: What do you like better, recording in the studio or performing live?
C: Recording is fun but I love being on stage performing the bigger the crowd the better for me.
LMF: What has been the most memorable moment in your career this far?
C: I have had a few memorable moments Meeting Magic Mike was cool but meeting Jazze Phae in the studio and him asking me to do my thang.
LMF: What CD would we find in your CD player right now?
C: A mix CD of multiple artists
LMF: What is the one food you could eat 24/7?
C: McDonalds
LMF: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
C: Global domination lol. I hope I am a great role model and can help kids around the world thru my music and talks that I am privileged to do in the schools.
LMF: Do you have any advice for someone starting out in the music business?
C: Yes, boy do I. Research who you choose to work with, don’t let anyone try and control you or change who you are, just be you. Stay humble doesn’t lose sight of who you are. Have a purpose and stay in school.
LMF: If you had a fortune cookie, what would your ideal fortune cookie say?
C: MMMMM
