LMF: ok Lets get started with your name and how old you are?
BG: my name is Bobby Gonzalez, and I'm 14
LMF: What made you become an actor?
BG: I guess it was because I wanted to make everyone laugh like the comedians on tv did. I love to make people laugh, it's my goal in life
LMF: Who are your influence(s)?
BG: my sister and my closest cousins. They are all older than me and teach me alot of thing. But they are still like friends to me.
LMF: If you had the chance to act with anyone who would it be and why?
BG: Robert De Niro, I think he is an actor who could play almost any role and be perfect for it. I respect him for that
LMF: So how does your friends/famliy feel/think about you acting?
BG: my family is extremely supportive. But my friends act as if I wasn't an actor which is just as good because it keeps me normal and grounded.
LMF: yea, It's nice to have friends that dont treat you different because you are an actor.
BG: it is
LMF: How is it to work on The Brother Garcica?
BG: it's demanding, but rewarding. I have to wake up early and work 9 1/2 hours, but I'm doing what I love.
LMF: how is a day of taping like?
BG: I wake up at 5:30 I take a shower and get dressed. Then I drive to work, when I get there I get into my wardrobe. After that I go in to rehearse the first scene. After I go to hair and make-up. And then back to set to film, after six hours of filming we have lunch and in between set ups we do school.
LMF: Is everyone on the show fun to work with?
BG: it's great working with the cast, because we all act like we are a real family none of the cast is stuck up or rude, we are all just normal kids and friends.
LMF: yea on the show its like you guys are really a family.
BG: it helps that we are so close we even hang out on the weekend every once in a while.
LMF:I know that Jeff is part of the Hollywood Knights and you where with him.
BG: yeah, we were invited to go by Alfonso from Fresh Prince.
LMF: How did you get the part of George Garcia? If you dont mind me asking?
BG: actually, since I'm from Miami I had to fly out to L.A. for a month to see if I could book a role in a movie or tv shoe. while I was there I saw some of my actor friends getting almost 5 auditions a day. yet I only got 5 auditions in the whole month I was there but one of the castings just happened to be the Brothers Garcia. I tried out three times and then I flew back to Miami. later I got a call that they needed me for one last audition so I flew out again, thats when I met the rest of the cast and booked the role. I'm actually told that I was the last person that tried out, and that if it wasn't for me they would have cut out the role.
LMF: Do you ever watch yourself on TV?
BG: I do watch myself on tv, for two reasons. one is so that I can watch the finished prroduct of the episode and two is so that I can find my mistakes and try to fix them.
LMF: How do you react when someone wants your autograph?
BG: well if I'm in public alone but not in an event I get suprised because I look nothing like my character in real life. but if I'm in an event I'm happy to make the kids (and sometimes parents) happy.
LMF: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
BG: I see myself in college, hopefully Yale I've already got a roomate. it's Vanezza. we promised that if we went to Yale we'd be roomates. we joked about it for the last 3 weeks of filming.
LMF: What would you say to the kids/fans that want to become actors/actresses?
BG: don't ever give up, I gurantee you won't get every job but don't get discouraged because the job thats for you will come along.
LMF: Last one, What would you like to say to your fans out there?
BG: Thank you for watching the show, and don't try any of the scams you see in the show because like the Garcias you will get caught. Trust me ;-)
