LMF: Why don't we start off with you introducing yourself.
Amy: Hi, my name is Amy Famiglietti. I am a singer from Boston, MA!
LMF: When did you know you wanted to become a singer?
Amy: Since I was really little. I have been singing since before I could talk! I've always loved performing for my family and friends and I've more recently focused my performance in a professional way.
LMF: Describe your music to someone who has never heard it before.
Amy: It's a mixture of pop and r&b with a feel of rock. I think it's something that people of all ages can listen to and respect and appreciate and relate to the message of the songs
LMF: Who are your biggest musical influences?
Amy: Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, and Whitney Houston.
LMF: If you could sing with any artist out there right now, who would it be and why?
Amy: Definately Britney Spears. I love the way that she performs. She's an amazing entertainer and I'd be honored to have the chance to work with her
LMF: If you could plan your own tour, which artists would you take out on the road with you?
Amy: If I could plan my own tour I would bring Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, and JOJO on tour with me. They are all great artists and seem like cool people to tour with. All of our music is a little different from eachother as well which would make for a cool show.
LMF: There are a lot of female artists out right now, what sets you apart from the rest?
Amy: I think my voice and music is unique and something that isn't really out there right now. On top of just the vocal aspect of my show I want to bring a gigantic performance to my show as well. And I sing all of my songs live which a lot of artists don't do now a days.
LMF: What was your first on stage experience like?
Amy: Well the first time I was ever on stage was when i was 5 for my dance recital and me and my cousin started fighting over one of the props lol But the first time I ever sang one of my own songs live was at a talent show in my city and it was a really cool experience to go out there and sing about me and sing something that wasn't a cover. I had my friends sing back up too which was really cool.
LMF: Do you ever get nervous or stage fright?
Amy: Not so much anymore....I used to. Now I just get anxious. I wouldn't really call it being nervous. It's more of like an excitement to get me pumped up to perform.
LMF: Do you have any pre-show rituals that you do before a performance?
Amy: Well the usual like getting in costume and doing makeup and such. Usually I'll run through the dancing once with my dancers and I always drink about 5 bottles of water lol . no exageration hehe
LMF: For a fan that is going to see you in concert, what can they expect from your show.
Amy: They can expect a really energetic live performance with a lot of dancing and LIVE vocals...I don't lip synch! lol they can expect a good show with someone who is real and just wants to get up on stage and do her thing
LMF: Do you have any embarrassing moments on stage you would like to share?
Amy: Well at my last show I forgot the words to my own song!!! lol that's pretty bad!! I don't know what happened to me. Nobody else noticed by i was pretty embarassed lol
LMF: What is the best part about being a performer?
Amy: The best part about being a performer is knowing that people like and appreciate the music that you dedicate so much work and effort into making. It's also amazing to be able to go out on stage and perform in front of a big crowd!! I love being on stage and this is what I love to do so making it my career is such an amazing opportunity
LMF: What do you like better, recording in the studio or performing live?
Amy: Performing Live!! I love being in front of an audience. Recording in the studio is cool though, but I'd much rather be on stage in front of an audience
LMF: What has been the most memorable moment in your career this far?
Amy: I would say writing my three songs and recording them and landing my performance at the tweeter center
LMF: What CD would we find in your CD player right now?
Amy: Right now I have the Britney Spears Greatest Hits: My Prerogative in my cd player!
LMF: What is the one food you could eat 24/7?
Amy: hm....fruit! I love fruit so much!! And Pasta. Pasta and fruit
LMF: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Amy: Hopefully with a recording contract and headlining my first tour with an album in the top 10 on the billboard charts
LMF: If you had a fortune cookie, what would your ideal fortune cookie say?
Amy: You will accomplish all of your goals and dreams.
LMF: If you weren't singing, is there something else you could see yourself doing for a career?
Amy: Choreographing and owning my own dance studio! I see myself doing something with performing and dancing and singing!
LMF: Is there anything you would like to say to the fans?
